Dolce Wind Quintet performs at the Schubert Club on March 8th. This concert is at the historic landmark center in downtown St. Paul. The concert is Thursday at Noon. The next night Dolce will perform on the newly formed Valley Church Music Series at Valley Community Presbyterian Church in Golden Valley. The concert is on March 9th at 7 p.m.
Since 1995 Dolce Wind Quintet has been customizing and performing programs of classical and popular music for artists series, recitals, weddings, receptions, worship services, charity benefits, and other public and private events.

Last December Dolce was featured on Classical MPR’s Holiday Sampler broadcast hosted by Steve Staruch. Dolce also performed live on-air during MPR Day in Rochester, Minnesota, and for MPR’s Music Alive event hosted by Alison Young at Calhoun Square in Minneapolis. Dolce Wind Quintet performs for The Schubert Club Courtroom Concert series in St. Paul each season and for the Munsinger/Clemens Gardens summer concert series in St. Cloud. For the Chamber Music Society of Minnesota, Dolce videotaped a live performance and interviews used in music education programs nationwide.
Members are flutist Nancy Wucherpfennig, oboist Marilyn Ford, clarinetist Karen Hansen, bassoonist Ford Campbell, and horn player Vicki Wheeler. All freelance performers and teachers in the Twin Cities area, they also hold positions with other chamber ensembles and several orchestras – from Bloomington to Duluth to Rochester.
